Full Redesign

Brand foundation through pre-ship audits — the long arc, in working order.

The whole arc, for when you’re redesigning a product rather than adding a page. Eleven skills in four phases, ordered the way the work actually goes: decide who you are, build the thing, decide what moves, then prove it holds up before it ships.

The ordering carries most of the value. Brand foundation runs first because everything downstream quietly inherits it — an agent that doesn’t know your type scale will invent one, and it will be fine, and it will be generic. The build phase stacks a correctness floor under a taste layer, so the boring things stay right while the interesting decisions get argued properly. Motion comes after build, not during, because the frequency gate can only be applied to interactions that exist. The audits come last and are deliberately four separate passes: accessibility, copy, motion, and mobile fail in different ways and reading them merged is how real findings get lost.

What’s deliberately not here: aesthetic-recipe skills. A redesign that starts from someone else’s look has skipped the only phase that matters. Use the gallery for those if you want a specific vibe — this kit assumes you’re building your own.

01 · Brand foundation

Brand Guidelines

Encode the real palette, type, and logo rules once so every later pass inherits them instead of improvising.

Frontend Design

Forces a named point of view before pixels — the antidote to drifting into whatever the model's defaults look like this month.

02 · Build

Make Interfaces Feel Better

The physical details — concentric radii, tabular numbers, scale-on-press — that separate credible from generated.

Emil Design Eng

A live taste consult while you build, with a review format that produces decisions rather than vibes.

03 · Motion

Design Motion Principles

Weighs three motion philosophies by project context, and its frequency gate asks whether a thing should animate at all before asking how.

Scroll-Scrubbed Visual Sequence

For the one product-story section that earns a scroll instrument — reversible, poster-framed, accessible by construction.

04 · Pre-ship audits

Better Accessibility

Keyboard paths, focus rings, and hit areas checked before launch, not after a complaint.

Better Writing

A copy pass over every label, error, and empty state so the interface reads like one voice.

Improve Animations

Turns "it feels off" into a prioritized motion audit with specific fixes.

Thumb-First

The mobile review team — design judgment and device reality as separate passes, merged without confusing the two.
